Arthur George Hayward, an artist employed by the British Museum (Natural History) — now The Natural History Museum, London — as head of its Model Making and Taxidermy-Exhibition Department, designed and sculpted (uncredited) many of the creatures animated by Ray Harryhausen in the latter’s fantasy and science-fiction motion pictures. These movies include One Million Years B.C. (1967) and The Valley of Gwangi (1969).
