Lona made her professional debut (I’d written and drawn some amateur stories years earlier) in “Devil Woman,” scripted by me and illustrated by artist Alfredo Alcala, created by both of us, and published in Vampirella comic magazine in 1980. The story was intended to be the first in a series that, unfortunately, never happened.
