Iguanodon “In Person”

 

 

 

The first post-Hawkins life-sized Iguanodon statue was one of animal collector Carl Hagenbeck’s prehistoric menagerie displayed at Tiergarten at Stellingen, near Hamberg, Germany. This statue (ca. 1910) — and other dinosaur figures — can still be seen today. And although not Iguanodon, here’s a rare 3D view of Diplodocus, another full-scale dinosaur figure included in the display,  seen in this ca. 1910 Keystone View Company stereograph. Diplodocus
