The Prehistoric Gardens — set in a rain forest — sold post cards, pennants, coaster and all sorts of other merchandise, now collectors items. One of the postcards shows the marine reptile Elasmosaurus (above, left) the first life-sized prehistoric-animal statue created for the Gardens, another, the Garden’s biggest figure, the gigantic dinosaur Brachiosaurus (below, left).
