This is the real “World a Million Years Ago” dome at the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair.
Upon entering this dome, people were conveyed a long a moving sidewalk, passing various prehistoric tableau courtesy of Messmore & Damon’s mechanical figures. The animals’ and “prehistoric people‘” vocal sounds were played back from records, some of which I have in my collection.
