The giant prehistoric gorilla King Kong first appeared in the classic movie King Kong, made by RKO in 1933. Since then there have been two official remakes, one in 1976 (wherein I was an “extra”) and another in 2005. As would be expected, there were Kong collectibles (including this resin Kaiyodo assembly model, shown below), but I only have a small sampling in my collection.
