“Clones” of two famous dinosaur sculptures made during the early part of the 20th Century, purchased during the 1980s in a drugstore in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. The Allosaurus was sculpted by Charles R. Knight for display at Dinosaur National Monument (see color post cards below). The Stegosaurus was sculpted by paleontologist Charles Whitney Gilmore for the United States National Museum of Natural History (now simply the National Museum of Natural History) as part of a set that was once widely distributed to various museums.
