Founded and owned by the late Osama “Doehei” Myawaki, located in Kyoto, Japan,Kaiyodo is a company located in Kyoto, Japan, specializing in assembly model kits based on movie, TV and anime characters, but also, I’m happy to say, on dinsaurs and other prehistoric critters. The company is also involved in other activities, such as publishing Artpla, a hobby magazine that showcases their product line. Examples of Kaiyodo’s work can be found throughout this website.
