On a shelf, ceramic prehistoric animal figures bought at a Burbank, CA tropical fish store during the 1980s.
The model was cast from an earlier sculpture fashioned after a famous painting by artist Charles R. Knight. C. B. Falls used that same original sculpture for the cover illustration of this book (below, right), published in 1953 (CLICK HERE for another clone of the Knight-based model).
Below, ceramic Dimetrodon, Triceratops, Apatosaurus and Stegosaurus.
