Although I was never able to get an original Untermann painting, I’m grateful for the Field House museum in Vernal and for Dinosaur National Monument for issuing a number of postcards reproducing at least some of his very impressive output. Many of his paintings adorn the walls inside the Field House, while numerous more are kept in stored away. Untermann’s artwork has also been reproduced on items such as a jigsaw puzzle from Safari Limited (1980s); and, more recently, on coffee mugs (made in Poland).
