The Animal World (1956) was a documentary film including a segment featuring dinosaurs.
These movie prehistoric creatures also enjoyed some minor merchandising, though not necessarily “officially.” This Flashcards postcard (1984) shows someone apparently dreaming about the Ceratosaurus from The Animal World.
Although this plastic toy Apatosaurus (the Brontosaurus from Marx’s “Prehistoric Times” playset, photo left below) was not an officially merchandised item, the figure, I believe, was patterned after the stop-motion model animated by Ray Harryhausen and Willis O’Brien in The Animal World (see color View-Master photo, below).
The Animal World official collectibles include a View-Master set of 3D reels and a comic-book adaptation.
